Dimitrios Tade was born in Greece, and lives and works in Athens, Greece. The works focus on the universe of characters created from his imagination. Tade brings to life mythical heroes popping out of an outer space-based video game. Some of these heroes have wings, flying around, while others come in riding on mythical creatures.
All the colorful and anthropomorphic figures and animals hovering in his works shown at his solo show take postures of pointing their fingers somewhere. Such signature postures vividly crystallize his imaginative theme of new dimensional space. The utilization of the raw canvas technique with acrylic, oil, and spray serves to provide new layers of depth and texture. Immediately upon coming close to the canvases, viewers would get thrilled to jump into uncharted exotic dimension.
The exhibition Another Dimension debuting in Asia, will present 18 new body of works, which consummate wonders of Tade’s unprecedented aesthetics.

개인전의 작품들 속에서 맴도는 화려하고 의인화된 모든 인물들과 동물들은 어딘가를 손가락으로 가리키는 동작을 한다. 그러한 특징적인 동작은 새로운 차원의 공간이라는 그의 상상력 넘치는 주제를 생생하게 구현한다. 아크릴과 오일 그리고 스프레이를 사용한 거친 생캔버스 기법의 활용은 깊이와 질감의 새로운 계층을 제공한다. 캔버스에 가까이 다가서는 즉시 관객들은 미지의 이국적인 차원으로 뛰어드는 설레임을 만끽하게 될 것이다.
아시아에서 처음으로 개최되는 테이드의 이번 전시회 “또다른 차원” « Another Dimension »은 작가의 전례없는 미학의 경이로움을 완성한 신작 18점을 선보인다.
